When I first posted this video to my Instagram page it went viral within days! People really loved how simple it was to make and I received a lot of comments saying that I should try making a “ginger bug” which is essentially fermented ginger ale. I definitely need to try making that but this recipe is so simple and easy it will blow you away. Making your own ginger ale is so SIMPLE and uses minimal ingredients. It actually only takes 4 ingredients! Ginger ale from the store is loaded with sugar and preservatives! This version uses really ginger and is sweetened with maple syrup making it light and refreshing. I top mine off with sparkling mineral water and it doesn’t last too long in my fridge because everyone loves it so much! Let me know in the comments if you give this one a try!

  • 1 cup of sliced ginger
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 5-6 tbsp maple syrup
  • Juice from 1 1/2 lemons
