This sandwich is a classic and for good reason! Crispy bacon, creamy avocado, juicy tomatoes and grilled chicken. To me, the perfect bread for this sandwich is Ezekiel bread. It’s made with organic ingredients, sprouted grains, no preservatives and is non GMO! I’ve been eating this bread for YEARS. My aunt first introduced it to me years ago and I immediately loved it. It can be difficult to find a bread with minimal and good for you ingredients and that’s why I always feel so good when I eat Ezekiel bread.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices cooked bacon
  • 1/2 cup chicken breast, shredded
  • 1/2 avocado
  • lettuce
  • 2-3 slices heirloom tomato
  • 1-2 tbsp garlic mayo
  • cheddar cheese
  • 3 slices bread

Directions

  1. Cook the bacon in a pan until crispy.
  2. Toast the bread and prepare the garlic mayo. Using a micro plane, grate the garlic into 2 tbsp of mayo. Add salt, pepper and mix.
  3. Assemble the sandwich by slathering the mayo onto all three slices of bread. Add the chicken, cheese and the next slice of bread. Smash on the avocado and add the bacon, tomatoes and lettuce. Add the last layer of bread.
