Have you ever tried making bone broth hot chocolate? You need to trust me when I tell you that it will blow your mind! This is the perfect warming beverage for your digestion. It’s delicious and it will make you feel amazing! The key ingredient to this drink is to use a good quality grass-fed beef bone broth. Lately I’ve been incorporating bone broth into my diet because it’s great for your gut, health and digestion. Bone broth is rich in collagen, vitamins and minerals. Incorporating bone broth into hot chocolate is seriously so delicious! It’s my new favourite winter beverage and I love that it’s loaded with health benefits.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup grass-fed bone broth (homemade or store bought)
  • pinch mineral salt
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 scoop collagen powder
  • 1 tbsp raw honey
  • Dash of powdered ginger and cinnamon

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, add bone broth, cacao powder, mineral salt, milk, ginger and cinnamon. Place the pan on the stove over medium low heat and simmer until the cacao powder dissolves and the liquid becomes hot.
  2. Add the hot mixture to a blender and add honey and collagen powder. Blend until frothy. Drink and enjoy!
