After any workout I like to replenish and hydrate. A lot of people tend to gravitate towards electrolyte powders or sugary sports drinks. I’ve never been a fan of these and I like consume products that are as natural as possible. I started making a hydrating electrocyte drink after the gym. This drink always quenches my thirst and replenishes any minerals that were lost during my workout. This beverage is made with four simple ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry and fridge.

For this particular recipe I used freshly squeezed blood orange juice but you could also substitute fresh orange or grapefruit juice. I add coconut water for electrolytes, a pinch of good quality mineral salt and top it off with sparkling mineral water. This is great to enjoy after a workout, playing sports or on a hot summer day. It takes a few minutes to make and I know you’ll love this drink as much as I do!
