If I can avoid buying something from the store and easily make it at home, I will. I usually avoid buying croutons from the grocery store because firstly, they are loaded with vegetable oil, chemicals and preservatives. Secondly, they can be expensive, and I would much rather save money and make them at home. They are so easy to make at home and it takes just a few ingredients. If you have stale bread or leftover bread in the freezer, make your own homemade croutons!

Once you make your own croutons at home, you will never buy them from the store ever again. They’re fresh, crunchy and have a wonderful olive oil flavor.
