If you’re having guests over or have been tasked to bring an appetizer to a family or friend’s house, you will want to try these brie crostini. These brie and red pepper jelly crostini are made using four simple ingredients that you may have in your pantry. They are so easy to whip up and they taste incredible. The creamy, melted brie paired with the red pepper jelly is a combination that I’m here for! Red pepper jelly has always been one of my favorite jams and I make my own every summer. You could substitute red pepper jelly with a fruit jam if you prefer. These brie crostini are very versatile and super easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 1 wheel of brie
  • red pepper jelly
  • olive oil

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375° F. Slice the baguette and brush both sides with olive oil. Arrange on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until crisp and golden.
  2. Slice the brie into 1/2-inch slices that are the same length as the baguette. Place a piece of brie on each crostini. Bake in the oven at 325° F for 5 minutes, or until the brie has slightly melted.
  3. Remove from the oven and arrange on a platter. Add a small spoonful of red pepper jelly and a sprinkle of fresh thyme.
