feta bites

Greece is clearly known for its feta cheese and while I was travelling in Greece, I had a piece of feta cheese baked in phyllo dough and drizzled with local honey. This was one of the best bites of my trip and I knew I had to recreate it. I thought it would be fun to do a play on this appetizer by making the feta wrapped phyllo into smaller bites. These feta bites are perfect to serve when you’re entertaining or if you are bringing an appetizer to someone’s house. They are one of the easiest appetizers you could make and it takes only five ingredients. For this recipe, I like to buy my feta cheese from Costco because it’s much more economical to buy it in bulk, especially if you are making a lot of these to serve at a party. You will love how crunchy and light these feta bites are! The combination of the salty, tangy feta cheese paired with sweet honey is extraordinary.
